The founder of Private Knights began her career in medicine, earning a degree in radiology in 1971.  Throughout her medical career she worked with trauma patients and helped them and their families deal with the physical and emotional pain from their injuries.

Sixteen years later she found herself dealing with her own abusive relationship and the aftermath that inevitably follows.

One thing always leads to another and her experiences lead her to become a writer and editor, work she still enjoys to this day.   Along her path she continued to study ways to help people and ultimately became an ordained reverend in 1999. 

Finding an avenue to help a vast majority of people has been her goal for the past eight years and finally lead to the formation of this business.

The men making up the ranks of “The Knights” have been carefully selected from a large number of applicants.  They must display special qualities and pass lots and lots of tests, legally and from a psychological and emotional standpoint, in order to be considered for a position here.  They come from all walks of life, are all ages and hail from various countries.  This cross-section was chosen in order to offer women that perfect someone to whom they can relate. 

This is an on-going search, and we may go through hundreds of applicants before finding just one who qualifies, thus the small numbers of available knights at any one time.

But no matter, our ranks will continue to increase every time we find that exceptional man who qualifies for being a shoulder on which our customers can lean.
